Description
Sugar beet Ruteniia 12 is a high-yielding classic hybrid developed and registered in Ukraine in 2023. Recommended cultivation zones are the Forest Steppe and Polissia, where this variety demonstrates stable and high agronomic performance. Seeds are supplied in batches from 1 sowing unit, each containing 1,500,000 seeds, with original documentation and delivery options via Nova Poshta or pickup from Kropyvnytskyi.
Hybrid Ruteniia 12 has a vegetative period of about 210 days, which promotes optimal sugar accumulation in the roots. The root shape is broad-conical, deeply embedded in the soil by three-quarters, facilitating harvest. The leaf rosette is semi-spreading, ensuring uniform growth and disease resistance. Yield potential reaches 95 tons per hectare, with an average of 80–85 tons, and sugar content may reach 19.7%, with an average of 17.5%.
The variety exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress factors: rhizomania, cercosporosis, powdery mildew, root rots, and root pests, as well as high drought tolerance and ecological plasticity. Seeds undergo pelleting and treatment with insecticides and microfertilizers for maximum protection and rapid germination. Sowing rate varies depending on regional moisture: 70–75 thousand seeds per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture and 75–85 thousand in areas with adequate moisture.
