Sunflower 1043L CLP is a mid-early hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus technology, providing high resistance to glyphosate-resistant A-G biotypes and new strains of downy mildew due to the presence of the PL6 gene. This hybrid exhibits wide climatic adaptability and is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including steppes, forest-steppes, and lowlands, as well as areas with high glyphosate prevalence. Its high drought and heat tolerance makes it a leader in its segment for resistance to adverse weather conditions.

Hybrid 1043L CLP is classified as mid-early in maturity (105-115 days) with plant height ranging from 140 to 160 cm. Yield potential is 3.4-3.9 t/ha, and oil content varies from 47 to 50%, making it a high-oil variety. Recommended seeding density depends on soil moisture level: under insufficient moisture, seeding rate is 35-55 thousand seeds per hectare; under adequate moisture — 55-60 thousand/ha. Seed treatment is recommended using Cruiser (Thiamethoxam 350 g/l).

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusarium wilt, stem and head forms of white mold, as well as rust, with resistance ratings on a 10-point scale at 6-7 points. Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to lodging, which helps preserve yield. Due to its flexibility in planting timing and adaptability to various climatic conditions, 1043L CLP is an optimal choice for intensive and extensive cultivation in different agroclimatic zones.
