AGR05

Hybrid sunflower AGR05 (NSX 8005) is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety with a maturity group of 104-106 days, corresponding to medium-early ripening. It is characterized by high yield potential, reaching up to 5.7 tons per hectare, and stable oil content in seeds at 52-55%. Plant height varies from 162 to 190 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 15.8 cm, ensuring good productivity and ease of harvest.

AGR05 exhibits high resistance to downy mildew (race A-G+), significantly reducing the risk of crop damage by this pathogen. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomopsis, rust, and root sclerotinia. Drought tolerance and adaptability to various growing conditions make this hybrid especially suitable for diverse climatic zones in Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and prairie regions.

Recommended planting rate depends on soil moisture levels: under insufficient moisture, 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare are optimal, while under adequate moisture, up to 55 thousand seeds are recommended. AGR05 is suitable for cultivation using the Express technology and is a linoleic-type hybrid, ensuring stable oil quality and high economic efficiency for agricultural producers.
