Description
Sunflower ALLEGRO CLP is a mid-early maturing linoleic hybrid developed by the French company RAGT Semences. This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, except for excessively dry steppe regions. ALLEGRO CLP stands out for its high seed oil content, reaching 54-56%, which is among the best indicators in the Clearfield Plus® technology group. The plants are shorter than average, which contributes to resistance against lodging and facilitates harvest.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, downy mildew, phomopsis, rust, and basket rot. This tolerance ensures reliable protection and promotes stable high yields. ALLEGRO CLP is also resistant to the weed (groups A-E), which expands its application potential under various agronomic conditions.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow optimal seeding rates depending on soil moisture levels: 60-65 thousand plants per hectare with sufficient moisture, 55-60 thousand with moderate moisture, and 50-55 thousand with limited moisture. Seeds are treated with Maxim XL and Poncho, which further enhance their protection and germination. ALLEGRO CLP combines high drought resistance, lodging resistance, and effective herbicide technology Clearfield Plus®, making it a reliable choice for modern farmers.
