ALTRUIS

The ALTRUIS sunflower variety is a medium-late, high-oil content variety intended for cultivation in the Lower Volga region. The vegetation period is about 117 days, with early flowering. Plants reach medium height at maturity, have green leaf coloration and yellow ray florets. The mass of 1000 seeds is 57.6 grams, indicating good seed material quality.

The variety is characterized by high oil content in seeds — averaging 53.3%, making it attractive for the production of oilseed products. Yield varies from average, about 22.8 centners per hectare, to maximum, reaching 35.5 centners per hectare. ALTRUIS has moderate resistance to diseases such as white rot and downy mildew, as well as moderate susceptibility to dodder, which requires adherence to agro-technical measures to maintain crop health.

The variety is produced by OOO OVP "POKROVSKOE" and has been included in the state register since 2016. Due to its characteristics, ALTRUIS is suitable for cultivation in the Lower Volga region, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield of oilseed seeds.
