Ampill

AMPILL is a mid-season sunflower hybrid (Helianthus annuus L.), characterized by medium plant height without branching. The leaves are of medium size, heart-shaped, and green. The ray and tubular florets have a bright yellow color. The hybrid's head is small and turns downwards at maturity. The seeds are narrowly ovoid in shape, with the main color being black with gray stripes.

The hybrid is distinguished by high drought tolerance and resistance to major sunflower diseases, such as rust (races A-E), sclerotinia, rust, and downy mildew. Thanks to these qualities, AMPILL is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Black Earth and Lower Volga regions. The hybrid's yield varies depending on the region: in the Central Black Earth region, the average yield is 29.0 c/ha, while the maximum reaches 48.7 c/ha, and in the Lower Volga region, the average yield is 20.8 c/ha.

Special attention should be paid to the high oil content in the seeds — up to 50.4% in the Central Black Earth region and about 49.4% in other regions. This makes AMPILL a high-oil hybrid, which is particularly valuable for the production of sunflower oil. The compact head size and resistance to unfavorable growing conditions make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield.
