AUKLAND sunflower is a mid-late hybrid Helianthus annuus L., intended for cultivation in various regions, including Central Chernozem, North Caucasus and Lower Volga. The vegetation period is approximately 124 days, enabling the hybrid to successfully adapt to the climatic conditions of these zones. Recommended planting density varies by region: 55-60 thousand plants per hectare for forest-steppe and 50-55 thousand for steppe.

The hybrid is characterized by high productivity and oil content, reaching 50%, which ensures significant oil yield upon processing. The potential yield is up to 50 centners per hectare, although actual yield depends on the region and may range from 20.4 to 29.9 centners per hectare. Plants reach a height of 160-170 cm, and the flower head diameter is about 24 cm, facilitating efficient harvest.

AUKLAND exhibits resistance to several diseases, including fomopsis, gray mold, septoria, white mold, and false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. However, the hybrid is susceptible to dry rot and rust, requiring careful monitoring and timely agronomic measures. The 1000-seed mass is approximately 58.2 grams, indicating good seed quality and uniform germination.
