Bonasol JMR

Bonasol JMR sunflower is a hybrid of Spanish selection with a moderately intensive cultivation type and a medium-early maturity period of approximately 105 days. This hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions, allowing successful cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. Plants reach a height of about 145 cm, with a flower head diameter of approximately 24 cm, and the head is downward-leaning, which facilitates efficient harvest.

One of the key advantages of Bonasol JMR is its high resistance to aggressive races of downy mildew (wolf) types A-G, as well as tolerance to diseases including false powdery mildew. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for moderately intensive and intensive cultivation. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand under adequate moisture.

Bonasol JMR has high yield potential, confirmed by test results over multiple years, with yields ranging from 27 to 41 centners per hectare. Additionally, the hybrid stands out for its high oil content in seeds — approximately 51% — making it one of the leaders in this parameter among early-maturing sunflower hybrids. All these characteristics make Bonasol JMR an optimal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest under various climatic conditions.
