CMS 1 32 sunflower is a mid-early hybrid with a vegetation period of 105-110 days. The plant is of medium height, reaching 160 to 180 cm, featuring a medium-sized, convex head that droops down after ripening. Seeds are of medium size, narrowly egg-shaped, with a main black coloration without pronounced stripes or spotting. Seed oil content is 50-52%, germination reaches 95%, and initial growth energy is high at 94%. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to stress factors and diseases, including downy mildew (6 strains), false powdery mildew (7 strains), and drought (9 points). It is also resistant to imidazolic herbicides such as Euroland, Eurolining, and Eurolang. Yield potential is approximately 52 centners per hectare, making it promising for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe regions of Ukraine. Optimal sowing density during the vegetation period varies from 60 to 70 thousand plants per hectare depending on the region. CMS 1 32 is an inbred line developed by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad, Serbia. The plant leaves are of medium size, green with slight blistering and fine serration, with a concave cross-sectional shape. The stem has medium hairiness in the upper part, and branching is absent. Flowers are orange-yellow ligulate and orange tubular with anthocyanin-pigmented stigmas. The head is of medium size, turned downwards on a curved stem, with a weakly convex seed side. Genetic analysis of the line confirms its uniqueness and stability, ensuring the reliability and quality of the hybrid.
