Developed through collaboration between the Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK) and Chinese breeding centers, this simple hybrid delivers consistent performance under challenging environmental conditions.

Operational Advantages

The primary advantage of the ED 33 is its resistance to imidazolinones (Clearfield system). This enables agronomists to maintain clean fields with high efficiency: a single herbicide application manages both broad-leaved and grass weeds, including difficult species that standard soil herbicides often miss.

• Phytosanitary Resilience: The hybrid shows significant resistance to white rot, making it a reliable choice for intensive crop rotations where soil-borne pathogens are a constant threat.
• Yield Potential: The ED 33 forms medium to large, semi-convex heads that are genetically optimized for high oil accumulation, ranging from 50% to 55%. This quality ensures better market value when delivered for processing.
