Enduro

The Enduro hybrid sunflower is a mid-season oilseed crop registered in the State Register for the North Caucasus region. Plants of this hybrid have medium height, no branching, and the stem is moderately hairy at the top. Leaves are heart-shaped, green without anthocyanin coloring, slightly blistered, with fine irregular serrated edges. Flowers are yellow, narrow and oval with a tubular part also yellow, lacking or having weak anthocyanin coloring on the stigma. The head is medium-sized, slightly convex with a flat seed side, oriented downwards. Seeds are broadly oval in shape, medium thickness, dark brown to nearly black in color, with weakly expressed gray stripes located at the edges and sides.

Enduro is characterized by high yield and high oil content in seeds. The average yield in the North Caucasus region is 25.2 c/ha, 8.5% higher than the standard. Maximum yields reached 39.9 c/ha at experimental stations in Krasnodar Krai and Rostov Oblast. Oil content in seeds averages 44.6%, making the hybrid attractive for oilseed product manufacturing. Yield expressed at basic moisture level of 7% varies from 2.1 to 4.2 t/ha, confirming the hybrid's stability and high potential.

The Enduro hybrid is adapted to continental climate conditions, highly drought-resistant, and resistant to lodging, shattering, and diseases, ensuring reliability in cultivation. It responds well to intensive cultivation technologies and suits various soil tillage methods. Due to its characteristics, Enduro is an effective solution for farmers seeking to increase productivity and product quality in sunflower cultivation.
