Description
ES Balistic CL — a high-oleic sunflower hybrid designed for cultivation under various soil-climate conditions, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe of Ukraine. The hybrid features high yield stability and quality, as well as good adaptability to different regions. Maturity group varies from early to mid-season, with a maturation period of approximately 107-109 days. Yield potential reaches 47 centners per hectare, making it attractive for intensive farming.
One of the key features of ES Balistic CL is its high oil content in seeds — from 47 to 50%, with oleic acid content reaching 88-91%. This ensures high-quality oil in demand on the market. Plants reach a height of 155-165 cm, with a flower head diameter of 22-24 cm in a semi-tilted position, facilitating effective seed formation and harvesting convenience.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, rust, verticillium wilt, false powdery mildew, and charcoal rot. It also shows good tolerance to the pest *Sturnus vulgaris* and adaptation to Clearfield® technology, enabling the use of modern agronomic practices to enhance productivity. ES Balistic CL seeds are suitable for use with fertilizers and agrochemicals, which contributes to improved yield and product quality.
