The ES SELENIC CLP hybrid sunflower is a mid-season high-oleic variety developed by Euralis. Plants reach a height of 160-165 cm, with a flower head diameter of 20-22 cm, which is semi-tilted downward. The hybrid exhibits a moderately intense type and wide adaptability to various cultivation regions, including the Northern Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polissia. High yield potential exceeds 50 centners/ha, and oil content in seeds is 48-50%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality oil.

ES SELENIC CLP has high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as false powdery mildew, anthracnose, sclerotinia, rust, fomopsis, and verticillium. Additionally, the hybrid shows good tolerance to herbicide Clearfield Plus, ensuring effective weed control. Medium-height plants contribute to enhanced resistance to lodging, and drought resistance is rated at 8 out of 10, enabling successful cultivation under various climatic conditions.

For optimal development, it is recommended to apply boron-containing (150 g/l) and nitrogen-containing (60 g/l) preparations during the 4-6 true leaf stage. Effective herbicides based on imazamox and imazapir, such as Euralightning Plus and Captor Plus, are used for weed control. For disease management, carbendazim-containing products such as Agrazim and Doctor Crop are applied. Desiccants based on isopropylamine salt of glyphosate, such as Barclay Gallap 360 and Helios, are suitable. This comprehensive agronomic approach ensures a stable and high yield of the ES SELENIC CLP hybrid.
