ES VERONIKA

The ES Veronika hybrid sunflower from the company Euralis is a mid-early, intensive hybrid with a high yield potential of up to 5 tons per hectare. It is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching 53-54%, ensuring high oil production efficiency. The vegetation period lasts approximately 105-110 days, and the plants reach an average height of up to 160 cm with a flower head diameter of about 23 cm. The seeds have a 1000-seed mass of around 63 grams, indicating good quality and uniformity of planting material.

ES Veronika has strong immunity to a wide range of diseases and pests, including resistance to downy mildew (7 races), Phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, rust, verticillium wilt, and false powdery mildew, including new races of this disease. The hybrid also demonstrates high drought resistance (rating 8) and lodging resistance (rating 9), making it a reliable choice for various soil-climatic conditions. A strong stem and robust root system ensure active growth at the beginning of the vegetation period and resilience to adverse factors.

Recommended growing zones include the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine, with an optimal planting density of 50 to 65 thousand plants per hectare depending on the region. The hybrid is suitable for areas with high incidence of Phomopsis and downy mildew, expanding its application potential. Seed treatment is performed with Maxim XL 035 FS and Poncho, further enhancing protection and germination. ES Veronika combines early maturity, high productivity, and disease resistance, making it a profitable and reliable choice for modern farmers.
