FOGOR

The hybrid sunflower Fogor is a mid-early variety with a vegetation period ranging from 94 to 120 days depending on the region of cultivation. Plants reach medium to medium-high height of about 140 cm, have green leaves and yellow disc flowers. The hybrid is characterized by uniform flowering and ripening, which facilitates even harvest. Fogor is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the North Caucasus, Central Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions, as well as in several republics and regions such as Kalmykia, Mordovia, Tatarstan, Altai and Stavropol regions, Lipetsk, Volgograd and Saratov Oblasts.

One of the key features of the Fogor hybrid is its high oil content in seeds, reaching 48%, which ensures potential yields of up to 45 centners per hectare and oil harvest of up to 1.3 tons per hectare. The 1000-seed mass varies depending on the region and ranges from 55 to 66 grams. The hybrid is resistant to highly virulent strains of downy mildew (including strains A–G) and also possesses resistance to such diseases as false powdery mildew, Phomopsis, stem rot and Alternaria, which significantly increases harvest reliability and stability.
