Fortasol

Fortasol sunflower is a mid-early oilseed hybrid specifically developed for cultivation in dry regions such as the steppe and forest-steppe of Ukraine. The vegetation period is approximately 110 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to conditions of limited water availability. High drought and stress resistance make Fortasol an optimal choice for regions with insufficient moisture. Recommended sowing rates vary depending on moisture levels: 55-60 thousand seeds per hectare under low moisture conditions, and 60-65 thousand under adequate moisture.

The hybrid has high yield potential, reaching up to 5.5 tons per hectare, or 50-55 centners per hectare. Oil content in seeds ranges from 48% to 51%, ensuring high oil productivity. Plants reach heights of 170 to 190 cm, and flower head diameter varies between 22-24 cm, facilitating efficient harvest. Fortasol belongs to the linoleic type of hybrids and exhibits excellent early growth, promoting rapid development and strengthening of plants during early stages.

Special attention has been paid to the hybrid's resistance to pests and diseases. Fortasol demonstrates high resistance to thistle (volchok) from groups A to G, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Additionally, the hybrid has a homozygous type of resistance to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl (SU Express technology), enabling effective weed control without harming the crop. The hybrid is non-GMO, making it a safe and ecologically acceptable choice for modern farmers.
