Horiv

Horiv sunflower is a high-yielding hybrid with significant resistance to adverse conditions and diseases. This plant has a strong, branched root system capable of penetrating to a depth of more than two meters, ensuring effective soil moisture uptake and contributing to high drought resistance. The plant height reaches approximately 1.6–1.65 meters, and the flower head is convex with a diameter of 18–20 cm, which is optimal for forming high-quality yield.

The Horiv hybrid features an ultra-early maturation period — the vegetation period is 90–95 days, allowing cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions, including Steppe and Forest-Steppe regions. The plant demonstrates rapid early growth and stable productivity, with potential yields up to 4200 kg/ha and average yields around 3400 kg/ha. High oil content in seeds, reaching 50–52%, and low huskiness level (20–22%) make this hybrid particularly attractive for producing high-quality sunflower oil.

Horiv possesses strong immunity to major sunflower diseases, such as rust (races A–G), Phomopsis, white mold, and sclerotinia, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. The plant responds well to mineral fertilization and adapts to complex soil-climatic conditions, ensuring stability and high productivity. Due to these characteristics, Horiv sunflower is a reliable choice for agricultural production, providing high-quality raw material for food and industrial processing, as well as suitable for feed purposes.
