Description
Sunflower LEROS CLP is a mid-early hybrid specifically developed for the Clearfield Plus cultivation technology. This hybrid exhibits high resistance to various biotypes (A to G) of downy mildew (Peronospora) and false powdery mildew due to the presence of the PL6 gene. Additionally, LEROS CLP shows resistance to diseases such as frogeye leaf spot, basket rot, rust, anthracnose, and alternaria, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and enhancing production stability. It belongs to the linoleic type and has broad climatic adaptability, enabling successful cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forest zones of Ukraine.
LEROS CLP plants form a strong stem about 175 cm tall with large leaves, and the flower head diameter reaches 24 cm, contributing to high yields. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under low moisture, and 55-60 thousand under sufficient moisture. The hybrid demonstrates high drought and heat tolerance, making it a reliable choice for various natural-climatic conditions.
LEROS CLP is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 50 to 52% — an important indicator for oil producers. Yield potential may reach 35-45 ц/ha depending on growing conditions and agronomy. Due to its combination of high productivity, disease resistance, and climatic adaptability, LEROS CLP is an effective solution for modern farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sunflower yields.
