Sunflower LG50463 is a medium-early, intensive hybrid developed using CLEARFIELD PLUS technology with the EuroLighting system. Thanks to its new genetics, this hybrid demonstrates high productivity and excellent oil content, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking high yields and quality raw material for oil production. The average plant height reaches about 147 cm, the thousand-seed weight is approximately 73 g, and the seed head diameter is about 17 cm, indicating good physical seed characteristics and their potential for processing.

LG50463 exhibits high resistance to various strains of downy mildew (A-G), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss due to parasitic plants. Additionally, the hybrid shows strong immunity to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, Phomopsis, black mold, phomosis, and sclerotinia. This comprehensive protection allows sunflower cultivation under various climatic conditions with minimal plant protection costs.

The hybrid is characterized by good plasticity and adaptability to adverse conditions, including drought and lodging, which is particularly important for regions with variable climates. It is recommended for cultivation across all of Ukraine, including forest-steppe and steppe zones. The optimal plant density at harvest is up to 55,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 45-50,000 under insufficient moisture, enabling maximum utilization of the hybrid's potential depending on growing conditions.
