Sunflower LG5629 is a mid-late hybrid designed for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including the north, center, and south. Plants of this hybrid have a medium height of about 147 cm and a vegetation period of 110-112 days, making it suitable for both traditional and intensive cultivation methods. Seeds are packed in carton units of 150,000 seeds, which is convenient for farmers.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including Phomopsis, white, dry, and gray mold, as well as Phomosis and false powdery mildew. Additionally, LG5629 is tolerant to races of downy mildew A-G and has high drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice under stressful conditions and insufficient moisture. Resistance to lodging is rated high, which helps preserve yield and simplifies harvest.

The hybrid yields up to 55 centners per hectare with oil content in seeds of 47-49%, ensuring high productivity and product quality. Recommended planting density varies depending on the moisture zone: up to 60,000 plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 45-55,000 in less watered zones. The head diameter is about 15.6 cm, and the thousand-seed weight is approximately 70 g, indicating good seed size and potential for high-quality oil production.
