Description
MAS 80 IR is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid developed using EuroLighting technology and the Clearfield system. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 95-100 days and belongs to the group of early-maturing varieties. The hybrid features a very convex head shape and medium plant height, which facilitates cultivation and harvest collection. Oil content reaches 52%, and 1000-grain weight varies from 45 to 55 grams, ensuring a high yield potential up to 50 centners per hectare.
One of the key features of MAS 80 IR is its high adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions, especially in the Polesye and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. Plants possess a powerful root system that ensures effective water and nutrient supply even under unstable moisture and stress factors. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to drought, lodging, dodder (5 races A-E), downy mildew (RM9), Phoma, stem and head rot, as well as verticillium wilt, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.
MAS 80 IR pollinates well and differs in stable yield when agronomic recommendations are followed, including seed treatment with Agrostart and Poncho products. Thanks to its characteristics and disease resistance, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high and quality sunflower harvest under Ukrainian conditions.
