MAS 850B

Sunflower MAS 850B is an early-maturing hybrid of the new generation, developed with modern agronomic technologies and adapted for cultivation under various soil-climate conditions. The hybrid was originated in France and is produced in Ukraine, Spain, and France. MAS 850B is distinguished by its high early maturity, enabling its use on all types of plots, ensuring stable and high yields. Seeds are treated with AGROSTART and PONCHO D150, which improves germination and protects plants during early growth stages. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture and ranges from 50,000 to 68,000 seeds per hectare, allowing optimal planting density for maximum productivity.

The MAS 850B hybrid has a high yield potential, reaching 45-55 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds ranging from 43% to 52%, making it attractive for linseed oil production. Plants have medium height and demonstrate excellent agronomic traits: rapid early growth, high resistance to lodging and drought. Moreover, MAS 850B exhibits resistance to downy mildew (race G), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The hybrid also shows tolerance to diseases such as sclerotinia, verticillium, fomopsis, and rust, ensuring healthy crops and stable yields.
