The MAS 87A hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability to various climatic and soil conditions, ensuring stable productivity in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine, including regions such as Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. Seeds are recommended to be sown at a soil temperature of 10-12 degrees Celsius at a depth of 8-10 cm for optimal germination and plant development.
Special attention has been paid to the phytosanitary status of the hybrid: MAS 87A shows high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including white mold of the head and stem, frogepsis, false powdery mildew, verticillium wilt, and downy mildew (5 races A-E). Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to drought and lodging, enhancing its reliability under stressful conditions. High resistance to diseases and adverse conditions makes MAS 87A a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest.
