MERIDIS KL is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid developed for regions with a short growing season and sharply continental climate. The growing period from emergence to harvest is 95–100 days, allowing for an early harvest. Plants reach a height of 150–160 cm, have a semi-drooping head position at a 45° angle, and a convex head shape. The hybrid is distinguished by high stress tolerance and unpretentiousness, making it versatile for various cultivation conditions. MERIDIS KL possesses resistance to main sunflower diseases, such as sclerotinia, phomopsis, gray mold, downy mildew, and lodging. The cultivation technology of the hybrid is based on Clearfield and Clearfield Plus systems, which ensures effective weed control and increases yield. Seeds contain an average of 48% oil, corresponding to the oleic acid usage direction, and the maximum yield reaches 36.1 centners per hectare. This hybrid is excellent for crop rotation and growing in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and quality harvest.
