Description
N 4 X 505 SL is a high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield® technology, intended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region. The hybrid has a medium maturity period of approximately 110-120 days and plant height ranging from 165 to 180 cm. The 1000-seed mass reaches 52.1 g, indicating good seed size and high yield potential, which can reach 5.2 t/ha under optimal conditions. The seeds are black and suitable for producing oil with high oleic acid content — 50 to 53%.
One of the key features of the N 4 X 505 SL hybrid is its high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew and rust, as well as to downy mildew (groups A-E). This ensures stable yields and reduces risks of losses under adverse weather conditions and pathogen presence. The hybrid also exhibits high drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable moisture levels.
The N 4 X 505 SL hybrid is suitable for cultivation using the EuroLighting system, which allows effective weed control and increased crop productivity. Uniform flowering promotes even maturity and simplifies harvest operations. High oil content and quality characteristics make this hybrid attractive for producers targeting high-quality sunflower oil with improved technological properties.
