Novo Alie

Sunflower Novo-Alie is a mid-early hybrid of Ukrainian selection with a vegetation period of about 105-108 days, adapted for Clearfield (EuroLighting) technology. This hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and is suitable for cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions, including the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine, as well as regions of the East, West, North, Center, and South. Thanks to its rapid early growth and plant height of about 165 cm, Novo-Alie ensures stable development and high yield.

The hybrid demonstrates high yield potential up to 50 c/ha (5 t/ha) with oil content in seeds at 47-49%. It exhibits high drought resistance and resistance to downy mildew, including 6 races (A-F), as well as resistance to diseases such as verticillium wilt, sclerotinia, and fungal diseases like phomopsis. Moreover, Novo-Alie is characterized by good cold tolerance and lodging resistance (9 out of 10), making it a reliable choice for cultivation under conditions of insufficient moisture and stress factors.

Fungicide seed treatment is used to enhance seed protection, reducing infection risk and improving plant health. The Clearfield cultivation system provides effective weed control and optimal conditions for sunflower development. All these characteristics make sunflower Novo-Alie a profitable and promising hybrid for farmers aiming to obtain high and stable yields of quality oilseed.
