Description
The NS H 1752 sunflower hybrid is a mid-early Serbian selection variety characterized by high yield and drought resistance. The maturity period is 102-107 days, making it suitable for regions with short crop rotations and challenging weather conditions. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm and exhibit moderate growth intensity. Seeds are large, dark-colored, with oil content in the kernels at 48-50% and protein at 16-18%, ensuring high product quality.
One of the key features of this hybrid is its high resistance to the parasite downy mildew (Peronospora) race A-F, achieved through updated maternal lines. Additionally, NS H 1752 has genetic resistance to sulfonylurea herbicide groups, allowing cultivation using the Granstar or Sumo technology with maximum herbicide application rates of 50 grams per hectare. The hybrid also demonstrates excellent resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, downy mildew, white mold, and rust, contributing to stable and high yields.
The recommended planting density before harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its early maturity and high resistance to adverse factors, NS H 1752 is ideal for early planting, when flowering and seed filling occur before heat or drought sets in. The maximum yield of this hybrid reaches 5.3 tons per hectare, significantly exceeding average Ukrainian yields, making it an advantageous choice for intensive and sustainable sunflower production.
