Description
Sunflower NS H 7963 is a high-yielding hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Forest-Steppe and Steppe. This hybrid features a medium maturation speed with a vegetation period of approximately 102-117 days, ensuring a stable yield even under changing weather conditions. Plant height varies from 150 to 190 cm, which facilitates efficient field area utilization and simplifies agronomic operations.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including race A-G+ of downy mildew, fusarium, phomopsis, downy mildew, and white mold. This resistance reduces the need for frequent pesticide applications, making cultivation more economical and environmentally friendly. Additionally, NS H 7963 demonstrates high drought tolerance and resistance to sharp temperature fluctuations, which is especially important for regions with unstable climates.
The hybrid's yield potential reaches 5.5 t/ha (55 c/ha), with oil content in seeds ranging from 50 to 55%, making it an excellent choice for oilseed production. It is suitable for various soil types and can be grown using the Sumo (Express) technology. The recommended seeding rate is 1 seed unit per 2.0-2.2 hectares, and each package contains 150,000 seeds. All these characteristics make NS H 7963 a versatile and reliable solution for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
