NSH 6007

NSH 6007 is a mid-season oilseed sunflower hybrid characterized by a vegetative period ranging from 102 to 107 days. Plants reach an average height of 140-160 cm, have no branching, and the stem has strong pubescence in the upper part. Leaves are of medium size, green, with a flat cross-sectional shape and fine serration. The head is of medium size and turns halfway down at maturity; the seed is narrowly obovate in shape with a black base color and gray marginal stripes. The hybrid is attractive to pollinators and is distinguished by a very high level of fertilization. NSH 6007 possesses high resistance to drought, lodging, shattering, diseases, and pests, including downy mildew, rust, and sunflower moth. The hybrid is also resistant to sulfonyl herbicides, which facilitates crop care. The recommended planting density is 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare, which promotes optimal development and high yield. In terms of yield, the hybrid demonstrates high performance: average yield in the Central Black Earth region reaches 31.9 c/ha, with a maximum of up to 50 c/ha. Oil content in seeds varies from 47% to 51%, making NSH 6007 a cost-effective choice for producing oilseed products. The hybrid is adapted to the Express technology and is recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga regions.
