Description
P64LE136 is a mid-season sunflower hybrid with a vegetation period of about 116 days, intended for cultivation using herbicide technologies. The plants have medium height and exhibit high yield potential, making this hybrid attractive for various agroclimatic conditions, except in regions where risk of leaf sheath necrosis is present. The seeds have high oil content, confirmed by oil content rating of 8 points.
The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to diseases, including new races of downy mildew, as well as excellent tolerance to leaf, stem, and head diseases. P64LE136 is resistant to sunflower flea beetle race A-G, ensuring reliable protection against this pest. Additionally, the hybrid shows good drought tolerance (7 points) and high resistance to fomopsis, stem and head rot, verticillium, which contributes to stable yield formation under challenging conditions.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow optimal planting density: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare in areas with adequate moisture. On fields with rust occurrence, fungicide protection is required. The maximum single application rate of herbicide Express™ 75 WG is 50 grams per hectare, ensuring effective weed control without harming the crop.
