Sunflower P64HE188 is a mid-season simple hybrid with high oleic acid content, making it a premium standard among high-oleic varieties. It features a high level of oleic acid — over 75%, and according to some data up to 90% — which contributes to producing high-quality oil with oil content in seeds at 50-52%. The vegetation period is about 117 days, allowing the hybrid to be successfully grown under various climatic conditions, including forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine.

Sunflower plants of P64HE188 have medium height, are lodging-resistant, and exhibit high drought tolerance, ensuring stable and high yields even under water stress. A large number of seeds form in the head, contributing to high yield potential — up to 50 ц/ha. The hybrid shows excellent tolerance to major diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, fusarium, and white rot, as well as resistance to various races of nematodes (worms) from A to H, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.

It is recommended to use hybrid P64HE188 in the herbicide technology ExpressSun® and apply fungicide protection on fields with prevalent rust. Due to its disease resistance, stress tolerance, and high oil content, this sunflower is suitable for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones, especially in southern regions of Ukraine.
