Pioneer Sunflower P64LE11 is an early-maturing oil-type hybrid with high oil content, reaching up to 52%. This variety is characterized by stable high yield and is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. The average weight of 1000 seeds is about 68 grams, and the harvest maturity period ranges from 80 to 110 days, allowing flexible planning of agronomic activities.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including new races of false powdery mildew, seven species of rust (from A to G), Phomopsis, stem and head sclerotinia. It is also tolerant to growing conditions, well withstands drought, and shows adaptability regarding planting dates and cultivation techniques. Seeds of P64LE11 respond well to application of herbicides such as Granstar and Express®, facilitating weed control and promoting healthy crops.
Morphologically, sunflower P64LE11 has a flat head, positioned semi-vertically, and reaches height below average. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type with linoleic acid content up to 70%, making it attractive for producing high-quality oil. Due to its disease resistance and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, this hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable oil crop yields.
