P64LE145

Sunflower P64LE145 is a mid-early simple hybrid specifically developed for cultivation in dry conditions of Eastern and Southern Ukraine, as well as in Steppe and Forest-Steppe regions. This hybrid is characterized by high productivity and adaptability, allowing it to consistently yield high crops even under insufficient moisture. Plant height is medium, facilitating ease of agronomic practices and reducing lodging risk.

The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is designed for use with the ExpressSun® herbicide technology, providing effective weed control with minimal impact on the crop. P64LE145 exhibits high resistance to seven races of sunflower flea beetle (A–G), significantly reducing yield losses from this pest. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates good resistance to major sunflower diseases: drought and oil content resistance are rated at 8 points, resistance to fomopsis and basket rot at 6–7 points, and to verticillium and downy mildew at 7–8 points.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain optimal planting density: 50–55 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture and 45–50 thousand under insufficient moisture. It is important to avoid planting on fields at risk of leaf sheath necrosis and to apply fungicide protection on areas affected by sclerotinia or fomopsis. The maximum single application rate of Express 75, WG herbicide is 50 grams per hectare, ensuring effective weed control without harming the crop.
