It possesses new genetic resistance to false powdery mildew (peronosporosis), including new races prevalent in Europe, ensuring reliable protection of crops from this dangerous disease. In addition, the hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to rust and effective control of various races of sunflower downy mildew (A-G + System II), significantly reducing yield losses and enhancing production stability.

P64LE280 is characterized by resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including fomopsis, white mold of heads and stems, verticillium wilt, and leaf wilting. High tolerance to leaf drop and drought resistance rated 7 on the scale contribute to successful cultivation in areas with varying moisture levels and climatic stresses. Recommended planting density varies from 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture to 50-55 thousand under adequate moisture, allowing for optimized yield based on growing conditions.

The hybrid is intended for use in the ExpressSun® herbicide technology, with a maximum single application rate of Express™ 75, VG – 50 g. It is recommended for cultivation in all regions, including areas with high prevalence of sunflower downy mildew and false powdery mildew.
