Description
R 469 IMOGH is a high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield technology, which provides resistance to sunflower rust race H and allows effective control of weeds. This mid-season hybrid has a vegetation period of 109-114 days and is characterized by stable high oil content (47-54%) and oleic acid (up to 92%), making it particularly valuable for producing high-quality vegetable oil. Plants reach an average height of 160-170 cm, possess branching and green leaf coloration with absence or weak blistering, which contributes to good development and stability under various growing conditions.
The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to main sunflower diseases, including stem rust (9 out of 9 races), white mold, Phoma, and root collar necrosis, ensuring yield stability and reducing losses under unfavorable weather conditions. Additionally, R 469 IMOGH shows high tolerance to drought, lodging, and seed shattering, making it a reliable choice for extensive and stress-prone agro-climatic zones. Seeds are treated with fungicides and insecticides, which further enhances their protection and sowing quality.
The recommended sowing rate is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum yield up to 5.9 tons per hectare. The hybrid responds well to the agro-ecological background, exhibiting an extensive growth type and uniform flowering, which facilitates agrotechnical operations and harvesting. Thanks to its plasticity, cold resistance, and unpretentiousness to growing conditions, R 469 IMOGH is suitable for all regions and ensures stable and high sunflower yield with high-quality oil.
