RGT Jill is a simple sunflower hybrid built upon RAGT's French breeding strategy, focused on comprehensive crop phytosanitary security. The key feature of this hybrid is its balance between intensive yield potential and high oil content (50-55%), achieved through optimized plant metabolic processes during a 110-120 day vegetation period.

Phytopathological Barrier

The technical advantage of this hybrid lies in its multi-level protection. Genetically embedded resistance to verticillium, rust, phomopsis, phoma, and powdery mildew minimizes the need for heavy fungicide applications during peak growth. Agronomically critical parameters include:

• Rot Resistance: A high resistance threshold against white rot (sclerotinia) is vital during periods of excessive moisture, preventing lodging and head degradation.
• Downy Mildew Immunity: RAGT breeding guarantees protection against the most aggressive strains of downy mildew.

Operational Flexibility: Clearfield Technology

Integrating RGT Jill into crop rotation is designed for the EURO-LIGHTNING system. The use of imidazolinone-group herbicides allows for effective control over a wide spectrum of weeds and all strains of broomrape (Orobanche), unlocking the crop's potential to form full, productive heads.
