RPF 517 ZH A is a sunflower hybrid intended for sowing purposes, ensuring high yields and resistance to various agricultural diseases. It is characterized by a medium-early vegetative period lasting about 108 days, which allows for harvest collection in optimal timeframes. The hybrid is adapted to the conditions of Ukraine, adapting well to the local climate and soils, which contributes to stable productivity.

The plant is medium-height, reaching 160-170 cm in height, with a head diameter of 22-24 cm. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 60 grams, and the oil content in the seeds is high — 49-52%, which makes this hybrid attractive for oilseed production. The recommended sowing density is 50 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to the maximum utilization of yield potential, reaching 45-55 centners per hectare.

The hybrid possesses a powerful root system and high drought resistance, ensuring a stable yield even under unfavorable natural conditions. It is resistant to powdery mildew and various races of the volunteer parasite, which reduces the risks of yield loss and the need for additional protective measures. The cultivation technology of the hybrid is traditional, making it convenient for use in classic agro-technical systems.
