Sunflower SA 5722 R is a high-yielding hybrid specifically developed for cultivation in arid regions. It exhibits high resistance to various races of the aphid (A to G), ensuring reliable protection for crops under challenging climatic conditions. Thanks to its taproot system capable of penetrating soil to a depth of 2.5–3 meters, this hybrid effectively utilizes moisture even under insufficient irrigation, making it especially valuable for steppe and forest-steppe zones. Plant height reaches 170 cm, and the head diameter is 22–24 cm, contributing to high yield formation.

The SA 5722 R hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is characterized by high oil content — approximately 51% — which is an important indicator for oilseed crops. It is resistant to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, facilitating weed control and reducing costs for crop protection. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on moisture levels: 55–60 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60–65 thousand under adequate moisture. The vegetation period is approximately 110 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various sowing dates.
