The SU RF 1 SP sunflower hybrid demonstrates oil content in the 50-55% range, which is a high indicator for a short-vegetation hybrid. This is achieved through intensive metabolism during the seed-filling period, which is critical under moisture-deficient conditions.

The technical resistance of the hybrid to pathogens is based on built-in protection factors that minimize the risk of epiphytotics. The agronomic value of SU RF 1 SP lies in its complex immunity against three of the most dangerous diseases:

• Verticillium wilt: suppression of pathogen development within the plant's vascular system.
• Sclerotinia: limitation of mycelial growth in the stalk and seed head.
• Phomopsis: reduced probability of leaf damage and stalk necrosis.

These characteristics allow for reduced pesticide reliance, cutting down the number of fungicide applications per season.

This allows for the effective use of early-season moisture and helps avoid the summer heat stress that often suppresses late-maturing crops. The medium-sized, black-coated seeds exhibit high germination energy, ensuring uniform emergence even at lower initial soil temperatures.
