SUVANGO

Sunflower SUVANGO HTS is a high-oleic hybrid of mid-season maturity, developed for high yield with high oil content. This hybrid features high growth intensity in early vegetative stages and is optimized for use with FMC’s Express herbicide. SUVANGO seeds provide oil content in the seed at 51–53%, and oleic acid content in the oil reaches up to 88%, making it particularly valuable for producing high-quality oil.

The SUVANGO hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as stem and head sclerotinia, phomopsis, verticillium, and fomosis, as well as to parasitic weed resistance to Russian thistle (A–E). Additionally, it demonstrates resistance to lodging and seed shattering, which helps maintain yield throughout the entire vegetation period. SUVANGO is well-adapted to drought and stress conditions, ensuring stable yield even under adverse climatic conditions.

The recommended sowing rate for SUVANGO varies depending on soil moisture levels: 45 to 60 thousand plants per hectare. For moderately moist regions, the optimal density is 45–55 thousand/ha, while for well-watered regions, it is 55–60 thousand/ha. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various agro-climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions, making it a universal solution for agricultural enterprises specializing in oilseed crops.
