Description
Sunflower seeds SY CHESTER are an early-maturing linoleic hybrid developed for stable and efficient cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions, especially in southern Ukraine. This hybrid is characterized by good growth rates in the early stages of organogenesis, ensuring successful plant development and contributing to high yields. SY CHESTER has high plasticity to sowing dates, allowing adaptation to various agronomic conditions.
One of the key advantages of SY CHESTER is its high drought and heat tolerance, making it especially valuable for cultivation in dry conditions. The hybrid demonstrates stable oil content up to 54%, ensuring high oil yield. Additionally, SY CHESTER has good pollen fertility, which contributes to effective harvest formation. Recommended sowing rates vary depending on soil moisture levels: from 35-40 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture to 50-55 thousand under adequate conditions.
SY CHESTER exhibits high tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including white mold (stem and head forms), Phomopsis, Phomopsis, and others. The hybrid is resistant to races of Helminthosporium A-G, significantly reducing the risk of plant infection by parasitic weeds. The cultivation technology for this hybrid is classical, using traditional methods and herbicides. The package contains 150,000 seeds, ensuring convenience and economy during sowing.
