SY KIARA

SY KIARA — this is a high-oleic sunflower hybrid of early maturity, developed by Syngenta AG for conventional cultivation technology. The hybrid is characterized by high yield, which can reach up to 8 tons per hectare under favorable conditions, and yield stability rated at 8 points. Plants reach a height of 150–170 cm, seeds are black, and oil content ranges from 48–50%, making this hybrid an advantageous choice for agribusinesses aiming to obtain high-quality raw material with high oil content.

SY KIARA exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases. The hybrid shows excellent drought tolerance (9 points), maximum resistance to rust, as well as high tolerance to froge and sclerotinia. Special attention is given to resistance to new races of downy mildew (A–F), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 55–60 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, and 40–45 thousand under insufficient moisture.

The SY KIARA hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine, including areas with unfavorable climatic conditions.
