Description
SY MICHIGAN CLP — a mid-season sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus technology, intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, primarily in central and northern regions of the steppe. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is characterized by moderate-intensity adaptability, enabling its effective use under various climatic conditions with different moisture levels.
One of the key advantages of SY MICHIGAN CLP is its stable high yield, ensured by high initial plant growth energy. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, phomopsis, phomopsis, and basket sclerotinia, as well as lodging. Additionally, it demonstrates resistance to biotypes of ragweed (wolf) from A to G, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss.
The recommended seeding rate varies depending on moisture levels: 35-45 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, 45-50 thousand/ha under moderate moisture, and 50-55 thousand/ha under sufficient moisture. Oil content in the seeds is 50-52%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality vegetable oil. To maximize the hybrid's potential, it is recommended to follow crop rotation and optimal sowing dates, while avoiding dense planting under sufficient moisture conditions.
