SY Roseta CLP

SY Roseta CLP is a mid-early, extensive sunflower hybrid of the Clearfield Plus system, developed by Syngenta for cultivation under challenging climatic conditions, particularly in the south-eastern steppe zone of Ukraine. The vegetation period is 105-115 days, and plant height reaches 140-160 cm. The hybrid exhibits moderate growth rates in early stages and high adaptability to sowing dates, enabling its adjustment to various agronomic conditions.

One of the key features of SY Roseta CLP is its high drought and heat tolerance, making it a leader in drought resistance within its segment. The hybrid shows high tolerance to the weed (foxtail) species A-F, as well as to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusariosis, sclerotinia, false powdery mildew, white rot, and rust, confirmed by resistance ratings on a 10-point scale at levels 6-7. Additionally, the seeds exhibit high resistance to shattering, which helps preserve yield.

SY Roseta CLP has a yield potential of 3.4-3.9 t/ha with oil content up to 49%. Recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: 35-40 thousand plants/ha under insufficient moisture, 40-45 thousand/ha under unstable conditions, and planting is not recommended under sufficient moisture. Seeds are treated with Cruiser (Thiamethoxam 350 g/l) for insect protection. This hybrid is an original certified seed material, ensuring its high productivity and reliability in the south-eastern steppe of Ukraine.
