TALON

The hybrid sunflower TALON is an early-maturing linoleic oilseed variety with a vegetation period of 95-101 days, making it optimal for cultivation under various climatic conditions in Ukraine. Plant height reaches 140-150 cm, and oil content in seeds is 45-48%, ensuring high oil yield. TALON has high initial growth energy and lodging resistance, promoting stable development and yield formation even under challenging soil-climatic conditions.

This hybrid is resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides such as Granstar and Express, facilitating weed control and reducing protection costs. TALON also demonstrates high drought and stress tolerance, and its resistance to downy mildew covers splits from A to E. Disease resistance levels are rated on a 10-point scale: Phomopsis — 7, root rot — 5, black mold — 7, making the hybrid a reliable choice for farmers aiming to minimize yield losses.

The hybrid TALON is suitable for cultivation on various soil types and is recommended for all regions of Ukraine — east, west, north, center, and south. Recommended seeding density varies depending on moisture levels: up to 55 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 45-50 thousand in drier areas. Hybrid seeds have high germination — around 92% — ensuring good initial growth and uniform crop development. TALON is supplied in bags of 150,000 seeds and is certified, guaranteeing product quality and authenticity.
