Austrian selection from Saatbau has long established itself as a benchmark for reliability under volatile climatic conditions. The three-line sunflower hybrid 'Vasilisa' is the result of long-term work by the originator Panam France, designed for farmers who prefer intensive farming technologies using 'Euro-Lightning' (Clearfield) herbicide systems.

Agronomic Profile and Resistance

This hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability to environmental stress. With a vegetation period of 100-110 days, 'Vasilisa' confidently falls into the mid-early segment, making it a convenient tool for crop rotation planning. The medium-height plant (170-180 cm) features a powerful root system, facilitating efficient nutrient and moisture uptake even in poorer soils.

Of particular note is the phytosanitary profile: genetic resistance to downy mildew and high tolerance to diseases such as rust, phomopsis, phoma, and powdery mildew allows for reduced fungicide protection costs. The flattened, medium-sized head ensures uniform ripening of the seeds, which is critical for preventing losses during harvesting.

Yield Economics

The oil content ranges from 45% to 50%, which, combined with the large seed size, ensures a high marketable yield per hectare.
