Jin M is a medium-maturing, large-seeded confectionery sunflower variety characterized by high yield and seed quality. The vegetative period is approximately 89-90 days, with plants reaching a height of 190-200 centimeters. The seeds of the Jin M variety are large, with a 1000-seed weight reaching up to 150 grams at optimal plant density of 28-30 thousand plants per hectare. The variety is distinguished by high oil content — oil content in the seeds reaches 42-45%, making it attractive for both the confectionery industry and oil production.

The variety exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, and downy mildew. The genetics of Jin M provide protection against downy mildew strains A-F, as well as high drought tolerance, confirmed by a 9-point rating on the drought resistance scale. Plants are uniform in height, flowering, and maturation, simplifying agronomic practices and harvest operations.

Jin M is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga regions. The variety demonstrates stable seed yield at 30-40 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 54 centners under favorable conditions.
