CAMBERLAND

Camberland F1 maize is a mid-season hybrid of super-sweet SH2 type sugar corn, developed by the French breeding company Clause. The plant's vegetative period is 76–77 days, and the corn reaches a height of 1.5–1.7 meters. The hybrid is characterized by compactness and high adaptability, developing particularly well on fertile soils with adequate moisture levels, making it ideal for cultivation in southern regions using drip irrigation. Camberland F1 forms two ears per plant, contributing to stable and high yields.

One of the key features of the variety is its high resistance to rust, as well as drought stress tolerance, resistance to excessive rainfall, and moderate cold tolerance. The ears are large, 22–23 cm long and 5.5–6.0 cm in diameter, with 17–20 rows of large, tender kernels. The kernels have an attractive bicolor coloration, with up to 25% of the kernel mass being almost white, giving the product a unique appearance and high organoleptic qualities. Thanks to these characteristics, Camberland F1 corn is excellent for fresh produce marketing.

The hybrid can be grown either by direct seeding into the open ground or via seedlings, ensuring flexibility in agronomy. Camberland F1 is valued for its stable yield, high kernel quality, and attractive ear appearance, making it a sought-after choice for farmers and fresh sugar corn producers.
