The Zirka SH series walk-behind tractors follow the classic design for heavy-duty machinery: a horizontal, water-cooled diesel engine delivering torque through a V-belt drive to the gearbox. The chassis features a massive cast-iron frame, which not only absorbs vibrations when working in heavy soil but also provides the necessary weight distribution for deep rototiller penetration.

Power unit: tractive effort

At the heart of the model is a single-cylinder diesel engine with a substantial displacement. The use of water cooling (radiator type) allows the machinery to operate at peak loads without the risk of piston group overheating. This is critical when plowing virgin soil or transporting heavy loads at low RPM, where airflow alone is insufficient for heat dissipation.

Chassis and maneuverability

• Gearbox: The gear reduction unit with low-range speeds allows for precise adjustment of ground speed to match specific implements, from potato diggers to rotary mowers.
• Differential: The axle differential lock release significantly simplifies turning in confined spaces, reducing operator fatigue.
• Clutch: The oil-bath multi-plate clutch is a hallmark of professional equipment, providing smooth engagement and protecting the transmission if the tiller hits a rock.

The practical advantage of this design is serviceability. Access to key components does not require specialized tools, and the cast frame is engineered to withstand decades of field use provided that maintenance intervals for fluids are respected.
