The Cornish zucchini variety is an early-maturing, cold-hardy bush variety with a synchronized and prolonged fruiting period. Cornish zucchini fruits are cylindrical, light green, weakly ribbed, weighing from 120 to 1100 grams, and measuring 17-20 cm in length. The fruit flesh is dense, juicy, thick, and white, with an excellent taste. The dry matter content is 5-7%. The fruits are of universal purpose: they are suitable for fresh consumption, storage, and all types of processing, including canning. Canned zucchini do not lose out to cucumbers in taste. The seeds are elliptical and creamy, and the fruits differ in good keepability and long storage life.

The Cornish variety is characterized by high yield — up to 10 kg per square meter or 214-673 centners per hectare. It is resistant to wind and cold, which makes it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Due to its qualities and versatility of application, this variety is popular among both amateurs and professional vegetable growers.
